There was a man
who owned a yacht.
His name was Dan
when it was hot
he brought his clan
on board a lot
to get a tan.
When it was not,
“So what!”

got into Dan
and soon began
his yacht to rot
and from the yacht
his loyal clan
departed. “Not
because of Dan,”
said they, but rot
was why they ran.
“My name is Dan
I own a yacht,
and you are not
a loyal clan.
When it was hot
you got your tan.
When there was rot
you turned and ran.
Now I am not
a happy man.”
And when the yacht
held none but Dan
there was a yacht
that owned a man.
