Jeff, thank you very much for these fine, festive favourites. You have many talents, and I am thrilled you’re sharing them with us… you’ve brought a huge Christmas smile to my face. I wish you a very merry one in my homeland, which holds many a warm memory. Cheers, my friend!

Thanks Susan, and happy memories of the many smiles you have given us this year. Hope you and Mike can enjoy a mince pie whilst watching “Carols from Kings,” the greatest Christmas music of all.

Thanks Wayne, you have triggered a few happy memories of Sandy Eggo and our our massive road trip around the States in the 80’s. The long drive to Phoenix across the Mohave Desert in a tiny Chevrolet Chevette was awesome.

Jeff, one of my few regrets is that I never made time to hear Les Paul perform. I think he played regularly at some New York night club for years before he died. I’m sure that you have latched onto a bit of Les in this truly beautiful medley. I really enjoyed this smooth rendition of timeless classics.

Thanks Mike. Les Paul was a great multi-tracker on the guitar. I recall a great version of “How high the Moon” and he had a guitar named after him. My influences are certainly the great Chet Atkins, the melodic joy of Earl Klugh, and Aussie Tommy Emmanuel. These three are giants of the acoustic guitar.

Mo, we watched the movie (again) the other night. If only all White Christmases could be like this. I fear a much more worrying time for you guys this year. Hope you get through it. It looks frightening from over here.

That was lovely, Jeff. Thank you so very much. It reminds me of driving my son back from college years ago with him playing his classical pieces on guitar in the back of the car. Thank you for the music and the memory.

Oh thanks Brian, and thank YOU for your poetry this year, that always entertains and informs.
Not only that, your comments on other work on SCP are such a delight to read and are an inspiration for us all. I have learned so much, and laughed out loud a lot at your amazing output. Keep on keeping on and hope the weather bomb doesn’t reach you out there in the Wild West.

Thanks David, we hope it’s a barbie on the beach with a few tubes of Fosters for you. Our friends in the States are doing no such thing. Have a happy and joyful Christmas.
