Upon Learning of Trump’s Conviction

_America is big;
__Does things in style:
Like setting up a President
__And rigging his trial.

_America is small;
__Does things with guile:
No charge against the President—
_Hey, not fair: senile!

    American politics are as bad as British politics, no? The Pond is not as wide as I once thought it was.

      Yes, CB, we’re neck and neck: for us this forthcoming July 4th promises to be the final descent into a statist state followed by anarchy!

    Thanks for caring, James. One of the best Presidents ever beloved by many and treated like a dog by fools.
    Our country is in shock, and your poem sums it up.

      A spontaneous pleasure, Sally – thank you! My country is in turmoil too if it’s any consolation!

        Dear James -Somewhere I read that the illegals are about to be placed on the rolls for Social Security. On the document which enrolls them is a question asking if they would like to vote, and a line followed by their signature. What is to stop anyone from inserting Biden’s name and counting it as an actual vote?
        Tried but failed to find the source for this again.
        If you have seen this I would appreciate confirmation of same, as either I am hallucinating or the world is even more corrupt than I think.
        However, if you can substantiate it as an actual fact I would not be surprised as there are already enough of them here to turn an election, and they are presently being given housing, food and. credit cards, In at least one school district children must work from home because their schools are being used as dormitories for them.

        This is all so insane, I wonder if the UK is doing similar things. Would appreciate hearing from you on this.

        I can’t give you the source, Sally, but it is insane; and also I am not sure whether what is happening in the USA is exactly mirrored in the UK, but I feel sure it is close. In the last 2 years our small country has let in 2.4 Million immigrants, both legally and illegally!!! 2.4M!!! I think Farage estimated that we need to build a new property once every minute just to house them! A racket is going in – a money racket – only it isn’t just for the mobsters. In my country, the universities, colleges and employers are in on it. And so … the poor become poorer. What the very comfortable don’t seem to realise is that when the very poor reach total despair, then revolution comes … and everything changes.

    Pithy, pointed and painfully accurate! Thank you for this, James. It made me smile on an otherwise bleak day.

    After this blatant travesty of justice, I’ll say this: Anyone who votes for Biden or the Democrat ticket is not just an idiot, but a moral degenerate.

    You nailed the two-tier justice system we have gravitated towards. Thanks for casting light on it.

      Thanks Warren – yes, they want equality, but not fairness: weird, or what?
